I’ve been blessed to serve the Mount Moriah family since 2005. I’ve been married to Carrie since 1999, and we have three boys, Jacob, Ethan, and Andrew. I hold a BA in Theatre from Winthrop University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Campbell University Divinity School.
It is my desire to bring the Gospel to life through a ministry that is TRUE, RELATABLE, and RESPONSIVE to the voice of God and the needs of others.

I have been serving in Kid’s Ministry since I was just a kid myself. Jesus really had it right when he said we should have the faith of a child. I live my life and lead this ministry trying to have the same awe for Jesus that my three year old neice has for Christmas lights in the Zaxby’s drive-thru; complete awe and wonder.
No one really ever grows up, so come be a kid and have a great time while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the next generation!

I’ve been married to my husband, Scott since 2011 and we both love serving and coming alongside parents in the discipleship of their teenager. While I grew up in TN, Raleigh is my home. I have a Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and am pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, NC. I have been on staff at Mount Moriah Baptist since December of 2020 and love serving here!

I grew up as a first generation American in sunny North Miami Beach, Florida. Having spent most of my life in the sunshine state, I was happy to relocate to Clayton from Southwest Florida with my native North Carolinian husband and our 6 year old son, Jace. My husband and I also have two older sons, 26 and 23, who have made their lives in North Carolina as well. In my spare time, I enjoy writing poetry, reading, theatre, spending time with my family, cooking and leading my neighborhood women’s prayer group.

I am excited to finally be home after serving 22 years at Selma Baptist Church. I married my crazy Cajun husband “Frosty” in 2002 and we have three children – Brittany, Jonathan, and Dilahna – who all cease to exist when our grandson Cameron is around. I LOVE people and all things music –and am so thankful God has blessed me with a talent that allows me to express my passion for both. “I play the notes as they are written – but it is GOD who makes the music” ~Bach~
